A week of small but rideable surf.

April so far has turned out to be fairly typical at Rincon.  Lots of wind has brought significant upwelling meaning frigid water temps in the mid-fifties.  The good news is that there has been a fair amount of windswell in the water for most of the week allowing for some fun sessions with a light crowd factor.  I surfed Tuesday afternoon and had a bunch of shoulder-high zippers through the cove at low tide.  Today was a little bumpy and mixed up as it was blowing pretty hard on the outside of the channel.  No pics to show from this week's sessions, so here are a couple of new ones taken last Wednesday...

I really like this one.  This image would make a great large-sized print; if you'd like to have a copy for your living room, just send me an email...

Who is this grom?  If you know, please send me an email.  I have a whole bunch of great pics of this surfer...
