Several readers reported decent surf over the long holiday weekend, though not quite living up to expectations produced by forecasts.  For the coming week look for continued moderate (waist to chest-high) swell, peaking on Friday the 1st.  Best bet will be Jalama to the North, or Oxnard - Malibu to the South.  In the meantime, a few more pics from last Winter.
