Windswell Headed Our Way...
Well, unfortunately, the much-anticipated Southern-Hemi we were expecting didn't exactly pan out as predicted, but this is Summer on the West Coast after all, so no surprise there. Reports from down South were that decent waves in the 3 foot range were had, but the fog and 'piss wind' combined with an am minus tide left little to be desired. There supposedly is some windswell headed our way for the coming week, so we can all remain optimistic about getting wet... By the way, lately I've been sifting through the literally thousands of images shot at Rincon over this past Winter, and will continue to post them here regularly through the Summer. Keep your eyes peeled, and just maybe there'll be one of you...
Here's a nice shot of an overhead wave taken up top in April.
Does anybody happen to know the identity this surfer?

I'm hoping to put togther an entry on GIANT Rincon, so if anyone has any pictures in their collection that they'd be willing to share, please let me know. You know what I mean about giant Rincon, those swells where you can hear the bolders rolling around in the shore pound, and hardly a brave soul gets in the water...
I don't know exactly who to give credit to for this one, but here is a perfect example of GIANT Rincon:
