Site redesign plus more photos added...
As I am sure that you've noticed, I have recently updated the design of the site, and would like to get some feedback from the readers. On the surfing front, one report submitted this past Sunday came from a towsurfing team (Akiskalian/Brown) who found solid overhead waves ~ long, peeling lefts ~ down in the Pt. Mugu area. With these Summer swells, seafloor bathymetry seems to have as much to do with the size of the waves as does swell direction, height, and period. Southern Ventura County figures to continue to be a hotspot.
Today in Santa Barbara, local winds really kicked up, and the possibility of another good windswell is improving for later this week as an unusual, off-season Gulf of Alaska storm approaches the West Coast.
Below are a few more images captured this past Spring at Rincon. See anyone you know?
Dawn Patrol Session...

As if you aren't surf-staved enough, this next pic (provided by Towsurfer.com) is enough to make Pavlov's dog salivate. This juicy slab came from a swell that was registering 15 feet at 17 seconds on the buoys...

Jon, I like the site re-design. Keep up the good posts.
