O.k., so it wasn't regulation Rincon, but I did manage to get wet this afternoon on the tail end of the most recent windswell.  When I arrived to the parking lot (close to noon) I was surprised by the number of vehicles.  Fortunately it was shift-change time, and the crowd thinned out quickly.  The Cove was nicely protected from the wind, and there plenty of waist-to-chest-high waves to go around.  The most surprising aspect was the sea temperature.  Following the heavy blow that we've seen all week I expected that upwelling would have made the water very chilly.  Much to my surprise it was the warmest I've felt since last Fall (low/mid 60's?), definitely trunkable if I'd brought a pair...  I didn't bring my camera, so I've got no pics to share.  However, I do have a killer shot courtesy of Towsurfer - Laird at Teahupoo to get your hearts pumping...
