Welcome New Rincon Surf Blog Visitors!
Looking at the site statistics, it appears that many new visitors have found the blog in recent weeks. I would just like to take a moment to say THANK YOU for stopping by. I've been working hard behind the scenes lately, making enhancements like adding powerful surf forecasting tools. It is my hope to create a portal for all Rincon surfers, a place to check in to get your daily fix, a way to stay connected to "The Queen" if you will -- even through the dry, off-season Summer months. If you'll look at the sidebar to your left you will notice what I consider to be three of the best indicators of local surfing conditions, the Wave Watch III Peak Wave Period and Peak Wave Direction Model, the CDIP Swell Height Model, and the CDIP Experimental Wave Forecasts. You will also notice that if you click on any of the thumbnails images, the actual full-size page will pop up in a separate window. Please feel free to email me your candid feedback and to make suggestions about ways to improve the site. Once we get through the Summer months, I'm gonna get ramped up quickly to resume snapping surf action shots at The 'Con on a regular basis. During the offseason I have invested in some serious upgrades to my photography equipment, which will improve the quality of my work for sure.
