Rincon Beach Cleanup Announced for Saturday, October 6th
One of our readers today emailed me a request to post the following information:
"I've been living in Carpinteria for almost 2 years, and I surf Rincon as much as possible. It's an absolutely beautiful spot. However, it disgusts me to see trash there and cigarette butts. I am amazed at how people can leave their trash lying around such a wonderful place. I would like to do a beach cleanup this Saturday, at around 9:00 am. Please tell people to bring a garbage bag and try to pick up as much trash and cigarette butts as possible. It's especially bad near the Palapa..."
