Weekend Update

Trick or Treat?

Old Guys Rule!

Things have been a bit on the quiet side this week at The 'Con, with major tide swings related to the full moon, and a shortage of groundswell.  That's not to say that there haven't been some fun sessions for those willing to ingnore swell forecasts, and take a chance.  There were in fact a few reports of excellent sessions later in the week, and as I type, a nice little windswell appears to be generating some clean head-high surf, now that the tide is dropping from a 6.9 footer late this morning.  The swell is expected to fade quite a bit, leaving little for the weekend sessions, but there should still be some rideable surf at the more exposed areas...

Be sure to check out Joaquin Mallman's online slideshow of images captured at Little Rincon earlier this week.  Joaquin recently purchased a housing and has quickly mastered the craft of shooting from the water.  Here's the link: Little Rincon Slideshow.
