A Few Waves Here and There

Small Surf for the Week, but Still Decent Waves to be Had...
Compared to what you might call a "normal" week of Winter the surf was a bit anemic at Rincon, but those who ignored the reports and checked for themselves were rewarded with some "playful" sessions over the past few days. Don't look now, but the weather patterns appear to be improving as we speak...
Just in case you missed it, there was a great article in today's Santa Barbara News-Press featuring local surfers Davey Smith and Paul Schulte. The article entitled "Monster Madness" talked about the towsurfing pair, as they are preparing for the upcoming Nelscott Reef (Oregon) Tow In Classic. Be sure to check it out if you get a chance.
