Weekend Surfers Rewarded

Both Saturday and Sunday Rincon surfers were rewarded with small but fun surf at the point.  While the size was mostly in the waste- to shoulder-high range, a few head-high+ sets wrapped into The Cove much to the delight of those willing to hang out and wait.  Morning session were best as mid-day was met with high tides.  The afternoon session on Saturday was reported to be excellent.  Crowds were light.  This morning brought more of the same, that is before the Southeast winds came in ahead of the storm front that is currently bringing some much-needed rain to the area.  The present trend will likely continue through the end of the week, when out next windswell is due.  Below is an image capture this morning in The Cove.
