Rincon Season Winding Down

Big Weekend Blow Provides Windswell

Aside from some heavy windswell action this past week, things have been realtively quiet at Rincon lately.  Some increasing NW groundswell is expected later this week, but don't expect size to go much beyond the chest-high range.  The following weekend will feature the Sharing the Stoke team event, and with any luck, the surf conditions will be a little more favorable than the barely contestable waves that we saw during this year's Rincon Classic.  Rumor has it that many formidable teams of surfers have entered the fray, so things should be interesting...

Rincon Regular Janna Irons Scores 2nd Place in Aussie Contest

Janna Irons placed second behind reigning Women's World Longboard Champion Jennifer Smith, final score Smith: 17.33, Irons: 14.87.  Third place went to French surfer Justine Dupont.  Bravo Jana, way to make us all proud!
