Team Surfing at Rincon Benefit Event

As previously announced, the first annual "Sharing the Stoke" event will go off as scheduled this coming weekend at Rincon.  Brought to you by the organizing committee of Cher Pendarvis, former World Surfing Champion Shaun Tomson, reknowned surf artist Robert Heeley, Surfrider Foundation Founder Glenn Hening, Rob Woods, Maggie Hood, and ‘Terrible’ Ted 'Muñoz, this should be one exciting weekend both in the water and on the cobbles for participants and observers alike.  Following is a link to a document containing more information including the list of invitees, event rules, and schedule.  Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to download the '.pdf' file.  It is available as a free download at www.Adobe.com if you don't already have it installed on your computer.

World Cup Tow-in Surfing Championship

The Association of Professional Towsurfers, Inc. (APT) is proud to announce the Punta de Lobos, Pichilemu Chile World Cup Tow-In Surfing Championship that will take place in South America. This will be the first stop for the 2008/2009 APT World Tour Season. The holding period for this prestigious event will begin April 15, 2008 and last thru July 15, 2008.  Note that our Rincon local boy Chris Brown is an invitee...
