Summer @ The 'Con: A Mixed Proposition
Thanks to some steep SSE energy courtesy of a Mexican chubasco, diehard surfers did manage to score some lefts off the top of the point, while others found small windswell conditions around the corner and down in the cove this past week. Down South in San Diego, Orange, and LA & Ventura counties there has been a steady diet of moderate-sized surf, but no surprises here with our island-blocked coastline.
Forecasters continue to call for SSW energy, so at least you can find some decent surf if you are willing to drive for it...
