Santa Barbara Surf Club To Compete In Annual Event
SBSC President Deb Trauntvein competes at last year's MSA contest
This Saturday and Sunday, September 6th and 7th, the Malibu Surfing Association will host its 45th Anniversary MSA Classic -- one of California's largest club surfing contests -- at world-famous First Point, Surfrider Beach. Not only that, you can catch Sal Masekela, Jason Mraz, Chad Lowe, Flea, Richard Burgi, Pete DiStefano, Brandon Cruz and David Chokachi riding the waves during the Surfrider Foundation Celebrity Expression Session. The Expression Session will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, during the MSA Classic presented by the Malibu Surfing Association. The Expression Session allows celebrities to show off their surfing skills and moves in a free surf format. In addition to surfing with their peers, celebrities can win prizes for every wave they catch and ride courtesy of Project Blue.
