Local surfers don't usually get too pumped up by 2-3 foot surf in January, but this being arguably one of the weakest surf seasons in memory, most will take whatever they can stroke their boards into.  With the annual Rincon Classic now less than 2 weeks away, everyone is hoping for a change in the weather.  Some current models are projecting a moderate West swell for contest weekend.  Now, wouldn't that be nice...?
