The Gods Must Be Watching

Now wouldn't you know it, two and a half months of madness -- the flat spell that never ends -- is coming to an end, just in time for the 2009 Rincon Classic.  Surf-starved locals and contestants alike will be competing for well, let's not even speculate, don't want to jinx anything, but hey the Gulf of Alaska is going Chernobyl right now, and the timing couldn't be better.

If you are a competitor and would like to secure some sick shots for your wall, just shoot me an email together with division and heat information as well as other identifiers (e.g., wetsuit and board descriptors), and I will try to be sure to capture your surfing.  RinconSurfBlog@gmail.com

The Women and the Waves Official Press Release

This inspiring film, featuring generations of women surfers, reveals what has transcended surfing's status as a sport to become a passion so strong, it is the dominant force in their lives."
