Excellent Conditions Greet Weekend Surfers Who Score Big    

     Continuing the run of good surf that began last Saturday during the Rincon Classic, yesterday was one of the best days of the Winter thus far -- not so much for size but overall quality. Solid and clean head-high sets wrapped from the top of The Cove all the way to the freeway call box, accelerating towards the end in one final rush. Current pros such as Kilian Garland and Tarik Khashoggi joined former World Champions Shaun Tomson and Kim Mearig as well as a whole host of regulars in taking advantage of the opportunity to rip on a Saturday at Rincon. The crowd was light early, but as is always the case when The Queen comes alive, cell phone alerts drew a large crowd together by late afternoon.

     As of this morning the passing storm front has left behind sloppy "victory-at-sea" conditions in its wake, curtailing the plans of those who missed out on yesterday's session and who were hoping to cash in...
