When you get close to April the likelihood of significant groundswell diminshes to practically nil, and all that's left for Rincon surfers are those finicky windswell sessions where wind, swell, and tide sometimes come together to produce some fun waves. Bustin' Down the Door Coming to Isla Vista
In case you haven't had the opportunity to see this amazing documentary that chronicles the transformational era of the mid-70's surfing scene, Bustin' Down the Door is coming to I.V. as a Surfrider Foundation fundraiser on Wednesday, April 8th. General admission will be $8, or $6 for students. An introduction to the film plus a Q&A session will be presented by surf legend and producer Shaun Tomson.
