Jesusita Fire Doesn't Burn the Queen

The Night All Hell Broke Loose
Greetings everyone:
First of all allow me to apologize for going absent the past couple of weeks. The week before last I was consumed with an annual project that I work on, and then last week the Jesusita Fire broke out, pre-empting my coverage of The 'Con. Wouldn't you just know it, but apparently a late-season swell graced the Queen as firefighters did battle. Reports of head-high-plus smokin' barrels began to fill in, but I just couldn't get away and soon I was evacuated from my home. I'm sure that by now you have seen the reports on t.v., so I won't regurgitate the story here, but I am sad to report that at least (2) Rincon locals lost their homes last week. Once I get their permission I will share their identities with you here... I did manage to capture some intense images of the blaze. Let me know if you are interested in any prints...
